7th Hisseli Er-Rahîm (c.c) Water Well

Er-Rahîm (c.c): A Well of Goodness Flowing in Tanzania

As the Goodness Pioneers Association, we inaugurated the 7th Er-Rahîm (c.c) water well in Tanzania. Located in a village just 2 hours away from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, 9,000 km from our country, this project aims to facilitate the lives of the village's 175 residents by providing them with clean water.

Project Details

This meaningful project was completed as a lasting work of charity, thanks to the support of our donors. Here are the project details:

Number of Shareholders: 72 donors.
Share Cost: 500 TL.
Ongoing Charity: This project was carried out as an ongoing charity that continuously earns rewards for the donors.
Village Population: A total of 175 people live in the village in Tanzania.
Nearest Water Source: Previously, villagers had to walk 2 kilometers to access clean water.
Local Language Sign: The sign reads: "This water well was built by Turks. It is a gift to you, free of charge, and everyone can use it."

Why Is This Water Well Important?

Like many rural areas in Tanzania, this village faces serious challenges in accessing clean water. Women and children spend hours carrying water, which negatively impacts their education, health, and quality of life. The Er-Rahîm (c.c) Water Well aims to solve these challenges:

Access to Clean Water: The villagers can now easily access clean and reliable water.
Improved Health Conditions: It contributes to the prevention of waterborne diseases.
Time Savings: Women and children can now devote their time to more productive activities and education instead of carrying water.
Social Solidarity: The project strengthens bonds of friendship by bringing the kindness of Turkish donors to the people of Tanzania.

The Excitement of the Opening

The opening ceremony was held enthusiastically with the participation of the village community. Opened with prayers, the Er-Rahîm (c.c) Water Well became not only a source of water for the village, but also a symbol of hope and solidarity. The gratitude and happiness of the local community once again highlighted the value of the contributions made by our donors who supported this charitable initiative.
