February 6 earthquakes Supplies, Food and Clothing AID
The February 6 Earthquakes and the Swift Response of the Goodness Pioneers Association
The major earthquake that struck on February 6, 2023, deeply affected millions of people. Hundreds of thousands of people were left homeless and unable to meet their basic needs. As the Goodness Pioneers Association, we reached the earthquake zone as quickly as possible during these difficult times and extended a helping hand to families in need.
Distributed Aid and Our Activities
The aid we delivered to the region immediately after the disaster was life-saving. Our association's activities included:
- Rapid Consumption and Canned Food Distribution: We distributed long-lasting, easily consumable food products to meet the nutritional needs of earthquake victims.
- Special Assistance for Babies: We provided support to families by supplying baby formula, diapers, and hygiene products for babies, who were the most vulnerable in the earthquake.
- Winter Heating Assistance: We distributed stoves and coal to meet the heating needs of those in shelters during the cold winter days.
Rapid and Transparent Aid Organization
The Goodness Pioneers Association followed these steps to deliver aid effectively immediately after the earthquake:
- Rapid Coordination: We quickly identified the needs in the region and delivered aid materials to the area.
- Transparent Distribution: We delivered the aid collected with the support of our donors to those in need in an organized and transparent manner.
- Regional Priority: We delivered aid with priority to the areas in greatest need.
