Our 21st water well named Al-Mutakebbir (c.c)
The Story of a Well Flowing with Goodness
As the Goodness Pioneers Association, we have successfully completed our 21st shared water well project, El-Mütekebbir (c.c), in the village of Mkupi in Tanzania, Africa. This meaningful project was brought to life with the contributions of 120 shareholders and aims to provide clean water to a population of approximately 400 people.
Features of the El-Mütekebbir (c.c) Water Well
The El-Mütekebbir (c.c) water well is not just a water source, but also a symbol of solidarity, sharing, and kindness. The project's features are as follows:
- Number of Shareholders: Completed with the contributions of 120 shareholders.
- Share Price: Each share costs 500 TL.
- Purpose of the Well: To provide clean water to the village's population of 400 people.
- Project Duration: The well took a total of 45 days to complete.
Why Water Well Projects?
In rural areas such as the village of Mkupi, access to clean water remains a major problem. Insufficient water resources lead to health problems, difficulties in accessing education, and loss of time. The El-Mütekebbir (c.c) Water Well was an important step towards solving these problems.
The Path of Goodness Extending to Tanzania
Tanzania is located approximately 9,000 kilometers away from Turkey, and the flight takes about 9 hours. To reach Mkupi village, a 3-hour road trip from Dar es Salaam is required. Despite this challenging distance, with the support of our donors, we were able to bring kindness to these remote villages.
The Project's Contributions to the Region
The El-Mütekebbir (c.c) Water Well has begun improving the quality of life for the village community since its inauguration:
- Access to Clean Water: Women and children can now easily access water without having to walk long distances.
- Health and Hygiene: Clean water helps prevent waterborne diseases.
- Time Saved for Education: Children can focus more on their education instead of carrying water.
Opening Ceremony and Its Impact on the Community
Our opening ceremony was held enthusiastically with the people of Mkupi village. The local community welcomed the well with prayers, recognizing its meaning and importance. This project represents not only clean water but also hope and solidarity.
You Can Contribute Too
As the Goodness Pioneers Association, we continue to carry out goodness projects around the world. You can also join this movement of goodness by making a donation and giving hope to people in need of clean water:
- Shared Water Well Projects: You can participate in these projects by donating a share.
- Individual Water Wells: You can have a water well built in your name or in the name of your loved ones with larger contributions.
